Dear colleagues,

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our research
team at the Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (Barcelona, Spain).
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge
project investigating the intersection of hologenomics, epigenomics, and
machine learning.

The three-year postdoctoral position is fully funded by two H2020 European
projects:

- HoloRuminant: https://holoruminant.eu/
- GEroNIMO: https://www.geronimo-h2020.eu/

Qualifications:

  * A Ph.D. in computer science, bioinformatics, animal genetics, or a
related field
  * Background in hologenomics, epigenomics, or machine learning
  * Experience with programming languages such as Python or R
  * Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  * Strong written and verbal communication skills

Tasks within the projects:

  * Coordinate the analysis of the data generated in the projects.
  * Develop models and algorithms for massive data analysis in the fields
of hologenomics and epigenomics using methods of statistical genetics and
machine learning.
  * Write scientific articles and contribute to conferences
  * Participate in seminars, and congresses on project topics
