Dear FAANG member,

This year, some of you will apply for funding to the AFRI Foundational RFA
program
(https://nifa.usda.gov/sites/default/files/rfa/FY%202017_AFRI%20Foundational_RFA.pdf)
for the ‘Annotation of Agricultural Animal Genomes Program Area Priority
Code – A1202’.

As mentioned in call text: ‘Projects should demonstrate strong community
support and coordination with domestic and international partners and/or
consortia (…)’.

For this reason, the FAANG Steering Committee will be happy, upon request,
to provide a letter of support to any proposal complying with the FAANG Data
Sharing Statement (http://faang.org/data-share-principle).
