A web developer is required who will be responsible for the ongoing
maintenance and development of the NARF web presence, in collaboration with
local business users and other University colleagues, to deliver a resource
to support the business of a national research facility. Generation of web-
based searchable databases, which will make available the NARF information on
the tools and resources widely available to the research community is a key
component of this role. In particular, the person will be working closely
with the Avian Bioinformatics and Poultry Science Groups to capture, extract
and make available resources within the NARF through dedicated databases. The
aim of the web developer post is to work within a team to provide user
friendly access to such information resources and support the centre.
