Dear FAANG members,

This is a notice to let you know that, the FAANG steering committee has
voted on June 22, 2015 to enforce a "FAANG Data Sharing Statement" (see
http://www.faang.org/data-share-principle).  The new statement has
included both the "Toronto Statement" about pre-publication data sharing
and the "Fort Lauderdale principles" about the release of data and
materials prior to publication.

If you have signed up FAANG prior to June 30, the agreement for your FAANG
membership did not have the updated new statement on the web site;
therefore this mail is to inform you about the change and obtain your
agreement renewal.  If you do not agree with the new statement, you can go
to the web site, sign in, and revoke your membership. Otherwise we deem it
as that you dutifully consent to the new "FAANG Data Sharing Statement".

For your information - the actual terms and conditions for FAANG membership
on the web site (after June 30, 2015) has been updated to read as:

  Confirm: by setting to this membership I agree to the FAANG Data
  Sharing Statement (which included the Toronto Statement about
  pre-publication data sharing and the Fort Lauderdale principles
  about the release of data and materials prior to publication.)
